SM Builders is a full service General Contractor specializing in green building. S. Miles Schlesinger earned a BA Degree from the University of Oregon. During his first career in business he was an executive in his family hospitality industry business building restaurantsin Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Utah and a motel in Medford, Oregon. The chain was sold in 2001 and SM Builders was activated to develop residential land for building starter homes using sustainable materials and energy efficient equipment and systems.  The process has evolved into building EarthAdvantage/Energy Star certified homes.
